  Started having problems where my laptop screen wouldn't work. I brought it in and they kept it for a few days so they could figure out what was causing the problem. I had to contact them on my own 3 days later, and the employee on the phone thought someone else had already called me. She said they were struggling to find the replacement screen (for a 2 year old laptop) and that I would probably need a new computer. I had to pick up my laptop and take it to another shop-- partly because more than one of my friends expressed that it was weird that this shop couldn't find a replacement, partly because I was going back to my hometown for the holidays. They didn't charge me for the diagnostic, which I really appreciated. But if they tell you they can't find a replacement part, I would try asking another shop before replacing your computer.
